Beaches, history and culture: enjoy the best of the French Riviera

Located just a few steps from the historic town centre and only 600 metres from the Mediterranean Sea and the famous ‘Millionaires’ Wharf’, the Best Western Hotel Journel Antibes is the ideal address from which to enjoy the many attractions of the French Riviera. Antibes-Juan-les-Pins, the second largest population centre in the Alpes-Maritimes, offers many advantages to visitors, whether they are here for pleasure or business.

Renowned for its 25 kilometres of shoreline, which makes it a seaside destination of prime importance, the area is also of historic significance, having preserved its authenticity and exceptional heritage.

Yet it also looks to the future, thanks to the leading companies of the Sophia-Antipolis technology park, and is capable of hosting major events due to the facilities provided by the beautiful Palais des Congrès in Antibes-Juan-les-Pins.

All these many facets make for a very attractive resort that is full of interest all year long.

Situated close to the old town, its shops and restaurants

Situated close to the old town, its shops and restaurants, which can be reached on foot from the hotel, the Best Western Hotel Journel Antibes also offers quick access to the resort's various museums, including the Musée Picasso; Musée Peynet; Musée de la Tour, dedicated to local history and traditions; as well as the fascinating Musée d’Archéologie.

Antibes is particularly suitable for family holidays, due to its blue flag beaches, the Marineland themed amusement park and zoo, and the Aquasplash water play park.

Beyond the city, the region is home to other treasures not to be missed during your stay, including the village of Biot, a real medieval gem; Golfe-Juan Vallauris, which is both a traditional ceramics village and a seaside resort with sandy beaches; as well as Cannes and its Promenade de la Croisette and, of course, Nice and its legendary Promenade des Anglais.
